Say Goodbye to Oh So Eclectic

This card is almost entirely leftover pieces on my craft table.  The only things I added was to stamp the flowers and color the leaves.  The flowers were stamped with full strength Grapefruit Grove for the outlines and stamped off for the filler.  The leaves (left over from another card) are sponged with Mossy Meadow.

Oh So Eclectic (FMS331)

I’m playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge today.  I had a few of the silver embossed foliage on my table so I thought I would let those guide my card today.  I also think I’m in love with the Layered Leaves Dynamic embossing folder.  I popped the panel up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The Best Wishes comes from Cake Soirée and I used the Classic Label punch and then put the label back in the punch to shorten it.

#TGIFC153 Bonus Week Challenge

Today I’m playing along with the TGIF Challenge and I knew exactly which card I was going to CASE!  I’d seen it on the Demonstrator Planning Place Facebook group earlier and LOVED IT!  Stesha used the Springtime Florals DSP from Sale-a-Bration which I sadly didn’t get but that gave me the opportunity to try and recreate it using current Stampin’ Up! supplies.

Oh So Eclectic Scrapbook Layout

Here is the layout I created for my last Let’s Scrap class.  I didn’t realize until after I cut all the pieces that the Naturally Eclectic paper has Emerald Envy in it and not Tranquil Tide.  Oops, I like it anyway.  🙂

Instructions:

1. Using Peekaboo Peach, stamp the watercolor flower on Whisper White Thick cardstock and die cut.
2. Using Lemon Lime Twist, stamp the leaves on Whisper White Thick cardstock and die cut.
3. Add 2 ½” strip of Designer Series Paper about 1” from the bottom of the Lemon Lime Twist papers. Center the 2” piece of Designer Series Paper on top.
4. Add Tranquil Tide photo mats as shown. Add the piece of Whisper White for journaling.
5. Add the flowers using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. I left the leaves over the photo mats without adhesive so I can add photos under them.

Oh So Eclectic with Watercolor Words

Measurements:

Whisper White Thick	5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼” 3 ¾” x 5”, 3” x 5” Extra for stamping & die cuts
Fresh Fig	4” x 5 ¼”

Instructions:

1. Use the diamond pattern die to cut the 3” x 5” piece of Whisper White. Use this as a stencil with the sponge dauber and Soft Sky ink on the 3 ¾” x 5” piece of Whisper White.
2. On the scrap piece of Whisper White, stamp the “love” from Watercolor Words and the letters y, o, and u from the Brushwork Alphabet using Fresh Fig ink. Die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.
3. On the scrap of Whisper White using Lemon Lime Twist ink, stamp the cross hatch leaves and die cut.
4. On the scrap of Whisper White using Fresh Fig, Pool Party and Soft Sky in turn, stamp the flower outline then stamp the fill in stamp on a scratch piece of paper and then over the outline. Die cut.
5. Ink the edges of the paper using the stamping sponges. The Whisper White panel is inked with Soft Sky and the oval and circle with Fresh Fig.
6. Add the Whisper White panel to the Fresh Fig panel and then to the card base.
7. Add SNAIL to the back of the “you” circle and begin to assemble your cluster. You will attach this with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card.
8. Add the “love” oval using Stampin Dimensionals and tuck under the flowers.
9. Use glue dots on the leaves and tuck under the “love” oval.

Oh So Eclectic

I’ve got a few Oh So Eclectic projects to share in the next few posts.  This is card #1 from my last Cookies & Cards class.

Measurements:

Tranquil Tide	5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”
Whisper White Thick	3 ¾” x 5”, scraps for die cuts
Whisper White	4” x 5 ¼” (for inside of card)
Designer Series Paper	4” x 5 ¼”
Gold Foil	1 ¾” x 1 ¾”

Instructions:

1. Using Berry Burst, stamp the watercolor flower and die cut using the outline. Add a piece of the multipurpose adhesive sheet to the back of the gold foil and then die cut the gold foil for on top of the watercolor flower using the outline and the intricate piece.  Peel off the backing of the adhesive sheet and adhere the gold foil to the top of the watercolor flower.
2. Using Lemon Lime Twist, stamp the cross-hatch leaves. Also using Lemon Lime Twist, stamp the solid leaves on a scratch piece of paper and then stamp over the cross-hatch leaves.  Die cut.
3. Using the piece of Thick Whisper White, die cut the diamond pattern. Hint: place this high enough to leave room to put the ribbon.
4. Tie the seam binding around the bottom of the die cut piece of thick whisper white.
5. Add SNAIL to the back of the flower and attach the leaves. Add this to the white panel.
6. Add the Designer Series Paper to the Tranquil Tide card base. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, add the Whisper White panel to the top of the Designer Series Paper.  Add the 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Whisper White to the inside of the card.
