This month’s Joy of Sets Blog Hop theme is Weddings. I was looking through my stamp sets and found that Dandelion Wishes had a wedding sentiment. I like to go simple and elegant for wedding cards so the card is mostly Very Vanilla with Early Espresso for the ink and the faux suede ribbon.
For the bow, I used about 4″ of ribbon glued with the ends in the middle of the back and about 3/4″ of ribbon wrapped around and glued. You need to use a clothespin or reverse tweezers to hold the ribbon in place while it sets. I then glued it to the front of the card and put a few clear blocks on top to weigh it down while it dried.

Not only did I play with the July 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit but I pulled out the Add-on kit too. For the add-on I chose to use current Stampin’ Up! stamps to create some simple scenes. Everyone of these cards is one layer. Mostly stamps, ink, and paper except for the embossing powder on the dandelion card and the light Basic Black blends marker on the dock.
Bundles – Mountain Air
Stamp Sets – By The Dock, Dandelion Wishes, Mountain Air, Snow Front
Ink – Basic Gray, Tuxedo Black Memento, Versamark, Black Stampin’ Blends
Paper – Summer Nights Add-On,
Coloring Tools – Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder
Tools – Heat Tool
I’m still feeling creatively blocked so it’s really hard to create right now. I have two other backgrounds on my crafting table that will likely show up later but I had a hard time figuring out what to do for a background on this card. I still think it’s missing something.
I’m again playing with a sketch challenge and also a color challenge. #cts377 #fabfri192
