Merry Christmas Bears

I used Crafty Al’s December 2023 Sheetload of Cards to create these two cards. However, I flipped one of the layouts to align the present.

Many Cards with April 2023 Sheetload Sketch

I used the April 2023 Sheetload of Cards sketch to create a bunch of cards for the Missing GRACE Foundation. After making several cards, I realized that the Beary Cute stamp set would also work well with the sketch. I used different colors to create three different cards and chose different accent colors to match the presents on the patterned paper from the Beary Christmas pack. I have also included a photo of the cards I created (using retired products) for the Missing GRACE Foundation, in case you would like to see them.

Beary Cute Christmas

I wanted to make sure the adorable paper from the Beary Christmas paper pack was the star of the show, so I made a small adjustment to sketch 613 from Freshly Made Sketches. By moving the paper strip up, I was able to perfectly showcase the cute bears and bring attention to their charming details. The paper strip is embossed with the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder and covered in clear Wink of Stella.

Merry Christmas

I came across Sketch 551 from the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge and decided to use it with my Snowflake Magic patterned paper. For the first card, I used my favorite pattern for the squares and the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder for the background. However, it felt a little flat to me. For the second card, I used my favorite pattern for the background and embossed the squares, but it still felt dull even after adding some white ink to the embossing. For the third card, I used all three patterns and I think it turned out the best. Which one do you like the most?

Christmas is Better Together

I made a card of size 5″ x 7″ using the Sheetload sketch from September exactly as it was without making any changes. Although I don’t usually make cards of this size, I decided to follow the instructions as is before considering modifying it to a size of 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.

I am using the Snowflake Magic patterned paper again (because it’s beautiful) and I have a quick tip for you. If you are using mostly foil paper, avoid using liquid glue as it will show through the paper. You may be able to see the glue on the left panel of the paper.

Beary Christmas

It’s November already and it has been snowing lately, so I have finally accepted that winter is coming. To celebrate the season, I created a lovely winter card using the Beary Christmas suite of products. While I was making it, I accidentally dropped my ink pad on the card, so I decided to ink the edges. I also added some glittered sequins to the card because they looked like snowballs to me.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You

It’s already October but the temperature here is still summer-like, a record 92 degrees on the 1st. I’m not feeling ready for winter yet, so I decided to create a card using my new Beary Cute stamp set with a summer theme. I used the masking technique to create a tree background and blended the colors around it. (I still haven’t found my masking paper.) To add more summer vibes, I added some butterfly embellishments to the card.
