…the Itty Bitty Birthdays and Itty Bitty Greetings stamp sets. You will see how much I loved the Birthday Wishes stamp, it’s on most of these cards. I love having a set of stamps specific to birthdays since I send so many birthday cards but I also love have a set of generic greetings. I will miss these stamp sets.
I don’t have many fall type stamp sets so I chose to take a tree and color it for fall.
Using my Stamparatus so I could repeatedly stamp in the same spot, I stamped the tree using Mango Melody. Next colored the trunk with my Early Espresso marker and stamped again. Lastly, I colored various areas of the tree with my Pumpkin Pie marker stamping after each area to see where else I wanted the darker orange. The tree looked too stark on the white cardstock so I inked the bottom with Mossy Meadow and the top with Balmy Blue just to give the idea of grass and sky.
I added my patterned paper to a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of black cardstock and then embossed them together. I cut my patterned paper piece a little larger than I ended up wanting it so I put that extra piece on the inside.
I have two Stampin’ Up! demonstrators that signed up with me and one of them now has someone signed up under her! I’m so proud of you Kristie!
I wanted to use the Plaid Tidings 6″x6″ designer series paper to make these cards and I picked out a picked out a piece that looked somewhat Halloween-y to me.
For the first card for Kristie, I embossed the brushed metallic foil using the Old World embossing folder but I didn’t like it so I embossed it again with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder. On the second card for Bert, her new demonstrator, I decided not to emboss the brushed metal piece and use the Tasteful Textile embossing folder on the Pumpkin Pie label. (The “Happy Stampin'” comes from an old demonstrator only stamp set.)
I got the sketch from The Paper Players challenge blog:

This is the second card we created in my last Cookies & Cards class. I wanted to make a more masculine and fall card and I found a card by Mary Deatherage that inspired me with the pretty color combination of Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, and Pretty Peacock.
Wipe small Very Vanilla Cardstock piece with embossing buddy. Using Versamark ink, stamp deer. Cover with copper embossing powder and use heat tool to melt. Die cut using oval. Die cut small Early Espresso piece using scalloped oval.
Using Staz On ink, stamp “Birthday Wishes” on Copper Foil Cardstock.
Using Banner Triple punch, punch the RIGHT ends of Copper Foil, Cajun Craze, and Pretty Peacock cardstock.
Using Woodland Embossing Folder, emboss Cajun Craze and Pretty Peacock cardstock.
Adhere banners to DSP. Adhere DSP to cardbase. Adhere deer oval to Early Espresso scalloped oval. Adhere deer to cardbase using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I know many of us were sad when Teeny Tiny Wishes retired last month but now we get to use Itty Bitty Greetings! There are so many pretty fonts and sayings in this set. I created this card also at Susan’s downline gathering last month.
