I love to scrapbook and I always create a layout for Demos Galore because I know there must still be some others out there that, like me, still scrapbook. With two Demos Galore sessions a year at least I get two layouts done. 🙂 I really need to put more time into it since this layout is from 2013. The Letters for You and Brushwork Alphabet stamp sets are my go to for scrapbook titles. For the Brushwork Alphabet, I first stamped in Balmy Blue ink and then again using Memento Tuxedo Black. This was a happy accident since I couldn’t see the title over the stamped snowflake background and I decided to darken it up. I used the snowflake stamp to create my patterned paper by simply stamping once using Balmy Blue and then stamping a second time without re-inking turning my stamp as I went.

Here is the second card we created at my last Cookies & Cards class.
Whisper White Thick
5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”
3 ¾” x 5”, 3” x 5”
Extra for stamping & die cuts
4” x 5 ¼”
Use the diamond pattern die to cut the 3” x 5” piece of Whisper White. Use this as a stencil with the sponge dauber and Soft Sky ink on the 3 ¾” x 5” piece of Whisper White.
On the scrap piece of Whisper White, stamp the “love” from Watercolor Words and the letters y, o, and u from the Brushwork Alphabet using Fresh Fig ink. Die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.
On the scrap of Whisper White using Lemon Lime Twist ink, stamp the cross hatch leaves and die cut.
On the scrap of Whisper White using Fresh Fig, Pool Party and Soft Sky in turn, stamp the flower outline then stamp the fill in stamp on a scratch piece of paper and then over the outline. Die cut.
Ink the edges of the paper using the stamping sponges. The Whisper White panel is inked with Soft Sky and the oval and circle with Fresh Fig.
Add the Whisper White panel to the Fresh Fig panel and then to the card base.
Add SNAIL to the back of the “you” circle and begin to assemble your cluster. You will attach this with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card.
Add the “love” oval using Stampin Dimensionals and tuck under the flowers.
Use glue dots on the leaves and tuck under the “love” oval.
