Wildly Happy

Here is the second card from my last Cookies & Cards class and also the second card from my June swap.  I just love how the mama panda bear is hugging the baby panda bear, so cute!  My daughter helped me design this one, she picked out the colors for me to use because sometimes there are just too many choices.  🙂

Measurements:

Balmy Blue Cardstock	5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼, 4” x 5 ¼”, 2 ¾” x 2 ¾”
Whisper White Cardstock	4” x 5 ¼”
Whisper White Thick Cardstock	2 ¾” x 3 ¾”
Noble Peacock Foil Sheets	2” x 4”

 Instructions:

1. Adhere foil sheet about ¼” from the left of the Whisper White cardstock, emboss using the Layered Leaves 3D embossing folder.
2. Using Staz-on ink, stamp the panda bears. Color with the black watercolor pencil and blend using the Blender pen.
3. Die cut the panda using a circle die and the Balmy Blue cardstock using the scalloped circle die.
4. Wrap baker’s twine around the embossed panel three times and tie a bow. Adhere to card base.
5. Adhere panda circle on scalloped circle and add to card using dimensionals.

Wildly Happy Elephants

Apparently I forgot to write and schedule this post for today.  🙂  Oops.

I’m still having fun with the Wildly Happy stamp set, today it’s the elephants.  I stamped them in Memento and colored them with Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake, and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends.  I used the Color Lifter over the Balmy Blue sky to lighten it up some.  For the background, I inked the embossing folder with Merry Merlot ink and then embossed Merry Merlot cardstock.  For the frame I inked the embossing folder with Crumb Cake and embossed Crumb Cake cardstock then I cut it into strips to make the frame.

Wildly Happy Foxes

The images in the Wildly Happy stamp set are just so cute.  I love the parent and child cuddling together.  I colored the foxes using the Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends and the Color Lifter.  The background is the Buffalo Check background stamp in Merry Merlot on Crumb Cake with lines of Cajun Craze added.  I love how the Buffalo Check can be easily changed into a plaid.
