When in doubt, be a unicorn

So I got the Hippo Happiness bundle because I really wanted the label dies in the set and I have a hard time passing up a bundle. I think this is the first time I’ve used this stamp set but it is soooo cute.

One tip though, use the Stamparatus to line up the stamped images. I tried twice without the Stamparatus before pulling it out.

I made the background using a dot stencil and my blending brushes, shifting if for the second color. I added Clear Wink of Stella to the mane, tail, and some random background dots but it doesn’t show up in the photos.

I was inspired by sketch #483 from Freshly Made Sketches.

Dragonfly Garden Surprise Gatefold Card

I knew I needed to make this style card when I saw it twice in one day from different sources. I mostly followed the directions from Jennifer McGuire but I decided to put the attached piece behind my patterned paper instead of on top of it.

I gave these cards and a small gift to the members of my team that went to Stampin’ Up!’s OnTour “gathering”. We did a zoom call with a few hundred demonstrators to learn more about Stampin’ Up! and share ideas.

The cardstock attaching the circles to the card are 1″ wide and scored down the middle. I just used scraps and didn’t measure the length, it just needs to be less than the attached circle.

Say Goodbye to..

…the Itty Bitty Birthdays and Itty Bitty Greetings stamp sets. You will see how much I loved the Birthday Wishes stamp, it’s on most of these cards. I love having a set of stamps specific to birthdays since I send so many birthday cards but I also love have a set of generic greetings. I will miss these stamp sets.
