Stamping With Bleach Technique Blog Hop

Welcome to the August Technique blog hop, this month we are stamping with bleach. I’ve never done this technique before because bleach freaks me out. 🙂 I watched this video by Jessica Taylor and created a “stamp pad” of bleach to use.

I started by stamping on Granny Apple Green and it turned into Daffodil Delight. I’m not a fan of green and yellow together (Go BEARS, boo Packers!) so I added some Gorgeous Grape.

I accidentally got some of the bleach on the Gorgeous Grape and it turned a Pool Party color. Now this combination I love.

I think I would try this again but with less bleach on the paper towels so I can get a crisper image.

Supplies:

Stamp Sets – Rooted in Nature, Very Versailles
Die Cutting & Embossing – Fabulous Florals, Layering Squares, Nature’s Root, Stitched Be MIne, Stitched Shapes
Punches – Banner Triple Punch
Ink – Granny Apple Green, Versamark
Paper – Daffodil Delight, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party
Accents & Embellishments – Linen Thread, Silver Metallic-Edged Ribbon
Coloring Tools – White Stampin’ Emboss Powder
Tools – Heat Tool
Adhesive – Stampin’ Dimensionals, Stampin’ SEAL

Love these! I definitely have to try out the Gorgeous Grape – such a cool transformation! I struggled a bit with having too much bleach at first too.
