Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop

Welcome to the April Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop. This month’s theme is birthday cards. I decided to use the retiring Zoo Globe stamp set because I never got around to using it and it can make such cute kids cards. I also used one of my last Snow Globe shaker domes that are also retiring. I think I would have used these more if they were a little flatter so I could mail them. This will be an in-person birthday card.

I die cut both the patterned Bumblebee paper from the World of Good paper pack and the white cardstock using the Stitched Rectangle dies so I could line them up exactly. I then die cut the snow globe from the Bumbleebee paper and traced the opening on the white cardstock so I would know where to stamp. The gray background is embossed with the Old World Paper 3D embossing folder to give it some texture and the metallic ribbon was colored with the dark Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blend. The sequins are left over from an old Paper Pumpkin kit.
