Say Goodbye to Daisy Delight

I don’t have to be too sad to say goodbye to Daisy Delight because I also have the Daisy Lane stamp set and it’s sticking around. I will miss using the Coastal Weave 3D embossing folder for blog posts but it will be staying in my collection because I love it. After stamping the flowers, I inked the top of the die cut with Balmy Blue. For the daisy, I used my bone folder to curve the petals up and then to curve the ends of the petals down.

I’m following the Try Stampin’ on Tuesday Challenge #456 which is pretty similar to many of the cards I’ve made lately. 🙂

Joy of Sets May Blog Hop

I just love how this sentiment turned out! I stamped it in Blackberry Bliss, then in Whisper White and heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I then stamped with Whisper White again and heat embossed using clear embossing powder and it came out so interesting. It pulled the Blackberry Bliss and the Old Olive into the final colors. I used Old Olive to stamp the stems. The little flowers are Petal Pink and Flirty Flamingo.

I followed a sketch from Inspire. Create. Challenges.

Say Goodbye to Beautiful Promenade…

…Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper, and Blueberry Bushel.

I’m low on mojo right now so I headed straight for card sketches. Today I’m using the May 2020 layout from Sheetload of Cards.

The flower is stamped in Flirty Flamingo but I needed to stamp it off on scrap paper first before stamping the image because it was too bold otherwise and Petal Pink just didn’t look right either. I used a sponge dauber and the Stamparatus to color in the center part of the flower to make it stand out a little more. Once I adhered the patterned paper, I used the Subtles embossing folder.

Say Goodbye to the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack

The Magnolia Lane card pack coordinates with the Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories & More Cards & Envelopes and makes these cards so quick and easy to put together. Most of the cards are made with just the 3″ x 4″ card on the front popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals. On the insides I used the 4″ x 6″ cards.

Say Goodbye to the Come Sail Away Memories & More Cards

I love to buy the Memories & More card packs but I forget to use them. I recently sent a make & take using these Memories & More cards along with paper from the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper. Each card will be a little different because there are only two of each design in the card pack. Here was my example card for them.

Very Versailles Press Petals Journal

This is the last of my Very Versailles series. Rachel also included the Pressed Petals Journal in my box. I left it for last because I was afraid I would mess it up and I only had one. I wanted to keep it pretty flat on the front so it is less likely to be damaged when used. I had the Shimmer Detailed Laser-cut paper sitting on my table and I decided to use it. (My daughter wanted me to layer all of the pretty pieces on the journal but I think that would have been too much.) One thing I didn’t know about the journal is that it isn’t blank inside. It has journaling prompts and prints.
