I saw Rachel’s Layout here and I had to try it. Now if you know me, you know how hard it is for me to do anything that isn’t straight and lined up. This page was a challenge for me. I ended up popping up the middle mats on each page with Stampin’ Dimensionals so I could just slide the other mats under. The middle mats are pretty much centered on the page so I could handle adding the other mats at angles. It was rough! 🙂
The “Let it snow” stamp is from the November Paper Pumpkin kit but I didn’t have anything else like it. Paper Pumpkin has some great stamp sets each month, it’s worth it to sign up for the stamp set and stampin’ spot alone!
The Whisper White photo mats are 3 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ and the Dapper Denim photo mats are 4″ x 5 1/2″. For the Dapper Denim stamped snowflakes, I inked once and stamped three times to get a progressively lighter shade.
When I bought the Sunshine & Rainbows stamp set, this layout was one of the reasons. My daughter loves rainbows and has a big one on her bedroom wall so I knew I could use it to create a scrapbook layout of her room make over. The other scrapbook layout I was going to use the Sunshine & Rainbows bundle on I apparently did last year.
For the Rainbow title, I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 2 3/4″ x 11″ and added 1/4″ pieces of each color except for Real Red and Elegant Eggplant, they were 1/2″ each. Then I used the Large Letters Framelits to cut the title. I think it’s my favorite embellishment on the page.
This past weekend there was an event I was part of called Demos Galore. There were 11 different demonstrations going on that the attendees could roam around too. Plus prizes every half hour. It was a day of fun!
I demonstrated the Merry Little Christmas Memories & More pocket scrapbook cards. I wanted to show how they can be used for more than pocket scrapbooking and Christmas.
Below I did a Christmas layout and then a mini golf layout using the exact same cards just flipped over! This is a versatile set!
Here is the layout I created for my last Let’s Scrap class. I didn’t realize until after I cut all the pieces that the Naturally Eclectic paper has Emerald Envy in it and not Tranquil Tide. Oops, I like it anyway. 🙂
My daughter just finished fifth grade and for us that means on to middle school. I’m trying to catch up on her scrapbook this summer, so far I’ve almost completed Kindergarten. 🙂 This is not a completely Stampin’ Up! project, I used my Silhouette Cameo to create the title (I love my Cameo). The designer series paper is retired from Sale-a-bration, as well as retired Watermelon Wonder ink for some of the hot air balloons.
The layout is based on this sketch from Let’s Scrap:
