Merry Little Christmas Memories & More, Day 8

Here is the card I demo’ed at Demos Galore way back on September 30th.    I made a few versions of the same card because there are only two identical cards per pack.  I started out with 2 packs of cards.  Half of one pack I put in a 6 x 8 pocket page album so all of the cards could be seen and the others I used to make samples.  The patterned paper in the background is a 4 x 6 card.  I cut it to 3 x 5 1/2 and used the extra 1″ piece for the banner peeking out from behind the sentiment card.

Merry Little Labels

Here is the first card we made at my last Cookies & Cards class.  I think I edited the photo more toward white, oops, it’s Very Vanilla.

I also decided to create the card with gold foil and gold embossing.  I love how this turned out.

Measurements:

Very Vanilla Thick	5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”, scrap for stamping
Very Vanilla	3 ¾” x 5”
Basic Black	4” x 5 ¼” (punch from the middle for extra piece)

Instructions:

1. Using the Everyday Label punch, punch a label out of the middle of the Basic Black layer.
2. Using Basic Black, stamp image on piece of Very Vanilla Thick cardstock. Punch out using the Everyday Label punch.
3. Attach Very Vanilla Layer to Basic Black Layer.
4. Attach snowflake to the center of the Very Vanilla layer, Vanilla side up. Be gentle to not tear the snowflake.
5. Attach “Let it snow” label to the black label as shown. Attach to the snowflake.
6. Wrap 13” piece of Very Vanilla Lace Trim around Basic Black and Very Vanilla panels.
7. Attach panels to card base.
8. Add pearls to Basic Black Label.

Merry Little Labels Holiday Catalog Preview

As I said in Tuesday’s post, my second upline Rachel Tessman does monthly gathering with her group of demonstrators either in person or on Facebook (since not everyone lives near).  Here is the second make & take we did.  This one featured a new stamp set, new punch, new papers and a new ribbon.  All that in three little tags.

Each tag is 2″ by approximately 4″ before using the banner triple punch to notch them.  I used the Aqua Painter and ink from the lid of the Old Olive stamp pad to “swoosh” over the stamped images to give a little more color.
