Jar of Love is another stamp set that has not gotten enough love from me. For this card, I stamped the jar on vellum using Versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder. I put it on some Wood Textures paper and Buffalo Check stamped paper that I had laying on my work table. The background is Hardwood stamped using Crumb Cake on Crumb Cake.
So when I first got the Blizzard thinlit I wondered what I could make with it that wasn’t strictly a snowflake and I came up with this wreath. I created a Whisper White wreath to mount the snowflakes on. I colored each of them with the Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler light and dark Stampin’ Blends before using the fine-tip glue pen build the wreath. All of the Cherry Cobbler pieces have Wink of Stella on them but again that’s not showing up in the photos.
Here is the wreath I created from the largest stitched shapes circle and the 2 1/4″ circle punch before I added the snowflakes:
I had lines drawn on the back of my wreath so I could evenly distribute the snowflakes but not everyone feels compelled to be that precise. 🙂 Also some of the white for the wreath showed behind the snowflakes, hence the white background.
