Say Goodbye to A Little Wild & Balloon Celebration

I was designing the card with just the little elephant on it but then I needed a sentiment and the “happy birthday” in Balloon Celebration worked.  Since I’m pulling in the sentiment, why not add a balloon.  I think it turned out well.

Paper Pumpkin – Day by Day kit

Happy New Year!  I’m back today with an alternative for the December 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit.  I really wanted to have the year on each of the months and a picture that went with them so here is what I came up with.  (My craft table is a mess right now, you will see why when you see how many stamp sets I used.)

I used the retired Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper on a piece of chipboard I saved from the kit.  I ALWAYS save my chipboard, you never know when you will need it.  The rings are 1/2″ book rings and I used my Crop-a-dile to punch the holes in the chipboard.  I cut the chipboard on my guillotine style cutter after adding the DSP (apparently I need to clean the blade to get a sharper cut).  The banner for each year is from Pick A Pennant and done using the Stamparatus.

The chipboard is 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ front and back.  The base is 4″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 1″, 2″, & 3″ then folded as above.  I attached the chipboard using Beacon 3 in 1 glue.

 

A Little Wild about Sprinkles of Life with Thoughtful Banners

It’s my husbands birthday today, we are the same age for the next month and a half.  He collects elephants so I thought the A Little Wild stamp set would work well for him.  I lightly colored the elephant with the watercolor pencils and blender pen.
