The images in the Wildly Happy stamp set are just so cute. I love the parent and child cuddling together. I colored the foxes using the Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends and the Color Lifter. The background is the Buffalo Check background stamp in Merry Merlot on Crumb Cake with lines of Cajun Craze added. I love how the Buffalo Check can be easily changed into a plaid.
I’m playing along with the Global Design Project for this card. #GDP198
I wanted to make a card with the Noble Peacock Suite that didn’t use the peacock. I die cut the leaves and feather from the Noble Peacock foil; the background is using the new Scripty 3D folder and some vellum from the Perennial Essence vellum pack; and that gorgeous two toned ribbon.
I love the new Noble Peacock Suite, it’s just so rich looking. For this card I focused on the beautiful peacock die cut. I think the best way to show it off is to die cut it from the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets and hey since they are out why not die cut another color and emboss it. So pretty. I then layered that on a piece of the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper.
I really love getting Paper Pumpkin kits in the mail every month. Even if I don’t exactly like the designed project, I can come up with alternate ways to use the items. Not to mention the abundance of leftover pieces to keep creating with.
I think the cards in the June 2019 kit are adorable, just too small. I haven’t broken out of my comfort zone enough to hand cards to random people so I changed the mini cards to regular size cards. I only added Crumb Cake cardstock, Crumb Cake ink, sponges, and Vellum Cardstock. I inked all the edges using the Crumb Cake ink.
This card uses the Daisy punch because my Medium Daisy punch hadn’t arrived yet. The card base is stamped with the leaf image from the Daisy Lane stamp set and the paper is from the Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Here was one of my trial cards for the Daisy Lane card make & take at the Catalog Launch Party last Saturday. I like the card but I really wanted to use the new Medium Daisy Punch. You can see how it lead to the final card.
