This is the second time I’ve used Timeless Textures and I don’t think I’ve used Thankful Thoughts much either. I’m horrible at actually sending thank you cards and I like clean lines so maybe that’s why neither got much use. 🙂
I colored the pearls with the Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends and you can’t really see it but the background is embossed with the Subtles Embossing Folder.
I’m joining two challenges today, PCC338 over at PaperCraftCrew.com and the FabFri164 color challenge over at FabFridayStampinChallenge.blogspot.com.
Over the weekend we celebrated Rachel Tessman’s 50th birthday and I made this card for her. I have a woefully small selection of current “Happy Birthday” sentiments that fit in this banner. For the flower, I used a sponge dauber to apply the ink and my Stamparatus to stamp it twice.
I’m playing along with the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch Challenge today. Here is my take on the sketch.
The gold foil is left over from the Watercolor Christmas kit in the Holiday Catalog. Since I’d already used some of it on a card, I thought why not make use of the rest on cards instead of lining envelopes. If you don’t have the Watercolor Christmas kit, just use the gold foil sheets.
I think I need to put the glitter away, it’s everywhere. 🙂 I’m playing along with the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch for this post. I’ve always loved the Flourishing Phrases stamp set and I pulled out my favorite ribbon again too.
For the flourish on the inside of the card, I used Smoky Slate and stamped off before stamping on the card. I wanted a lighter image.
