Snowflake Splendor Modified Tri-Fold Card

I really like these tri-fold cards because you let the cuts and the patterned paper handle the design. Today I’ve created a modified tri-fold card that I got from Sandy Allnock (she even has a PDF to download).

My favorite part of the card is the ombre sentiment. I created it using my Stamparatus. I stamped it in Balmy Blue, then I dabbed a sponge dauber in Night of Navy ink and inked the bottom part of the sentiment before stamping again. I did the same on the “inside” for the snowflakes. I love how it turned out.

When I was done I showed my card to my son and he said “eh”. *Sigh* I then went to my husband who commented on how sparkly it was and looked it over carefully. I think I need to train my son better. 🙂
