Say Goodbye to Watercolor Wings

Next year I need to count my retiring stamp sets and then decide when to start the blog posts.  Whew!  That was a lot of stamp sets.  Today I’m featuring Watercolor Wings.  Now this set didn’t get nearly enough love from me.  When it first came out, I didn’t understand the appeal but then I started seeing the incredible butterflies being created and I had to have it.  I don’t think I ever featured this set in a card class, it can be a little tricky to line everything up and I only got my Stamparatus a few months ago.  On this card you can barely see the stamped image I created with the retiring Tempting Turquoise alone but it’s pretty.  The Basic Black is coated with Wink of Stella.

And a close up of the butterfly.  It’s amazing all the faults you can see when you look at a close up.  🙂
