Cool Treats

This is card number one from my January class.  It’s a CASE of a card designed by Stampin’ Up! and sent to demonstrators.

Measurements:

Watermelon Wonder 4 ½” x 1 ¼”
Whisper White 5 ½” x 7 ½” score at 4 ¼”, 4 ¼” x 5 ½”
Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper Pear Pizzazz polka dot pattern: 1″ x 5 ½”

Instructions:

  1. Stamp “Happiest Birthday” in Whisper White ink on the 4 ½” x 1 ¼” Watermelon Wonder Cardstock. Pour the White Stampin’ Emboss Powder onto the Whisper White ink and heat with the Heat Tool.
  2. Stamp the sprinkles in Pool Party ink on the Whisper White card base (stamp off some of the images for varied shades).
  3. On the 4 ¼” x 5 ½” Whisper White Cardstock:
    1. Stamp the strawberry in Watermelon Wonder and Pear Pizzazz ink.
    2. Stamp the tall popsicle off two times in Watermelon Wonder ink, then stamp off the swirls, and finally stamp the highlight in full strength ink. Stamp the stick in Crumb Cake ink.
    3. Stamp off the bitten popsicle in Pool Party ink and stamp the highlight in full strength ink. Then stamp the stick in Crumb Cake ink.
    4. Stamp off the ice-cream swirl base in Peekaboo Peach. Stamp the swirl in full strength ink.
    5. Stamp off the cone base in Crumb Cake ink and stamp the top grid pattern in full strength ink.
  4. Use the Big Shot to cut out the images: ice-cream cones, ice-cream swirl, strawberry, and popsicles.
  5. Use the Banner Triple Punch to notch the end of the Watermelon Wonder to create banner.
  6. Adhere the Tasty Treats Designer Series Paper to the card base.
  7. Add washi tape to the card where shown.
  8. Adhere ice cream cone and popsicles as shown.
  9. Adhere Sprinkles Embellishments using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.
